About the school

Successful candidates will find themselves in a warm, welcoming environment in a Secondary school that prides itself on pupil provision. Enthusiastic and creative teaching staff are supported by a strong senior leadership team, all delivering in classrooms focused on maintaining a positive atmosphere for children and practitioners alike. The School require both 1:1 Teaching Assistants alongside General Classroom support.

Requirements

To be considered for the role of Learning Support Assistant you will:

• Experience working on a 1:1 basis
• A strong work ethic
• Have experience working in mainstream British Schools and be able to demonstrate teaching excellence
• Have or be prepared to undergo an Enhanced DBS check
• Hold a teaching assistant qualification or have experience supporting children in a primary school setting (minimum 5 days experience needed
