About GoFounder
At GoFounder, we work with high performing startup founders to help them focus on driving their business forward. How? Through accountability coaching.
** Due to demand, we are now seeking an equally high performing person to join our team - so if you like the sound of the role below, we would love to speak to you, so please don’t forget to complete the video task as this is key to progressing your application. **
In a nutshell, we provide weekly accountability calls for our founder clients to help them identify, prioritise and (more importantly!) execute on what they need to do in order to move the needle in their business.
Why? Because most founders are so insanely busy, they sometimes need a little help being held accountable. More often than not, they’re moving from a place of employment where they’ve been used to being held accountable, to complete freedom which often leads them to procrastinate and indulge in stuff that simply won’t help them grow their business.
Studies show that you’re 95% more likely to complete your goals if you have a specific accountability appointment with someone you’ve actually committed to.
And that’s where you come in.
More about the job
As an Accountability Coach, you’ll be working with your own set of aspiring founders, helping them to grow their business to new heights by having weekly, 20-minute calls with them, helping them to realise what’s a must-do vs a nice-to-do vs shiny object syndrome!
Accountability coaching is much more than calling founders out on where you think they’re putting their focus and energy, you’ll also act as their confidant, their cheerleader - playing both good cop and bad cop with them on a weekly basis.
It’s like an independent outsider to help them see sense, especially when they’ve got so much going on, your job is to keep them on the straight and narrow and laser focused on their long term goals. Ultimately, accountability coaching can help positively impact the lives of founders - helping combat loneliness, make them achieve a better work-life balance and overcome challenges (which stem from self-doubt, imposter syndrome… and more).
A typical working day
